Network Refurbishments & Construction continues to make strong progress on the roof restoration and waterproofing project at Rooty Hill, with substrate demolition and preparation works now well underway.
As part of our quality assurance and compliance process, the first site inspection has been completed by the Class 2 Design Practitioner. During this inspection, cracking within the existing concrete slab was identified, investigated, and documented to enable the development of the appropriate structural repair methodology prior to the installation of the new waterproofing system.
Early identification of existing substrate defects is a critical component of any successful remedial building project. By assessing the condition of the structure before waterproofing commences, the project team can ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with the design documentation, relevant Australian Standards, and the requirements of the NSW Design and Building Practitioners Act.
Despite ongoing wet weather, demolition and preparatory works continue to progress safely and efficiently. The project team remains focused on maintaining the construction program while delivering the highest standards of workmanship, quality assurance, and site safety.
Network Refurbishments & Construction is committed to delivering long-term, compliant remedial solutions that extend the service life of existing buildings and provide confidence to building owners, strata managers, and project stakeholders.
We look forward to sharing further project updates as construction progresses through the concrete repair, waterproofing, and restoration phases.
