Overview

The Seven Hill Group of Clubs wanted to carry out a major renovation to one of there existing sister club and give its members and guests a whole new look from the External elevations to the whole of the internal areas of the existing club so as to provide a new lookand a new sense of style to the Club from the new entry thru to kitchen, gaming, lounge, outdoor gaming, bars, installation of new lift, toilets upgrading power supply and auditorium. Network along with 2 other D&C builders where invited to submit in competition for concepts and colour boards for presentation to the board and as a result the board choseNetwork Refurbishments & Construction to be charged with this major design and construction project. The Club benefitted from a project team with a dedicated team offering open communication and commitment to delivering a high quality project on time.

Minimising Disruption

As the project was taking place within a live environment, the client needed Network Refurbishments & Construction to ensure minimal disruption to its operations and patrons. There was continuous consultation with the Club in regard to noisy activities, and demolition works which were carried out in a manner that minimised inconvenience to patrons and staff.

Complex Elements

The key challenge of this project was the gutting and refurbishment of an existing Club. Incorporating new kitchen, new lift, upgraded bar, gaming both internal and external, new toilet areas, lounge areas and as well new look auditorium on first floor, as well as the intricate nature of a functioning club, the redesign of the toilets and additional loungespace which required major demolition works – Network had to allow for an increase in efficiencies of its space planning so as tobe able to meet the needs of the increasing number of patrons to the clubs gaming, lounge,

child area and auditorium area. The club imposed a strict policy on the completion date and Network finished ahead of its programmed completion date.
