Network Remedial Builders has been engaged to carry out flood testing of the rooftop planter boxes and tiled outdoor areas.
The Network team will first undertake isolation testing of the planter boxes. The planter box drains will be blocked and filled with water containing a coloured dye for a minimum period of 24 hours. During this time, the team will inspect the building, including the unit directly below, to identify and document any water ingress, leaks, or waterproofing failures.
Upon completion of the planter box testing, the rooftop tiled deck will be flood tested. The deck drainage outlets will be blocked and the area will be filled with water containing a coloured dye for a minimum of 24 hours. Following the test period, the units below will be thoroughly inspected for any signs of leaks or water penetration.
Once all testing has been completed, Network will provide the Strata Plan with a comprehensive report detailing the findings, identifying the source of any water ingress, and providing recommendations for rectification. A detailed quotation will also be submitted, outlining the option to complete the remedial works in staged sections or as a single comprehensive project.
Network Remedial Builders is the preferred remedial contractor for a wide range of residential and commercial remedial projects throughout New South Wales, delivering specialist expertise in leak detection, waterproofing investigations, and building rectification.
